Duchess of Cornwall hosts Winners Of The Queen's Essay Competition
The Duchess of Cornwall hosted the winners of this year's Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition at Buckingham Palace in London this afternoon.
Camilla, 72, who is Vice-Patron of The Royal Commonwealth Society, teamed a chic forest green dress with knee-high black boots as she held the reception on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen.
She accessorised with pearl jewellery, for an effortlessly smart appearance, and carried a black £295 'mini' bag from British label DeMellier.
Camilla and her daughter-in-law Meghan Markle both own the same handbag in green, but today the Duchess seemed to be carrying a black version of the accessory.

The Duchess tied her look together by wearing her hair in waves swept away from her face, along with a dark pink lipstick.
She has had a busy week of engagements across the capital with visits to an East London School and a church service, studybay despite suffering from a seasonal bug.
Camilla seemed in good spirits today, as she met with the winners and gave a speech during the esteemed reception.

The Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition is the worlds oldest international writing competition for schools and was founded in 1883 to promote literacy, expression and creativity among young people throughout the Commonwealth.
This year over 11,000 young people from across the Commonwealth entered the competition.

Each candidate was asked to focus on how their entry could benefit cultural, technological and environmental connections for a positive change across the Commonwealth.
The Senior Winner of this year's 'A Connected Commonwealth' theme was Catherine Wang, from Canada, studybay while Veronica Shen, from Singapore was awarded Junior Winner.
The contest was renamed ‘The Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition', in honour of HM Queen Elizabeth II's role as both Head of the Commonwealth and Patron of The Royal Commonwealth Society in 2015.
In addition to meeting the winners, Camilla spent time talking to former Spice Girl Geri Horner, author Evie Wyld and poet Ben Okri.
The 72-year-old doesn't seem to have much on her agenda for the rest of the week, but is set to fulfill another Vice-Patron role when she attends a gala for the London Library on Wednesday.
